Okay now that we are all caught up on Miss Evie, Today we went for an EEG, 26 electrodes and 9090909343 verses of 10 little indians,p-u-r-p-l-e, and by low baby bye, we finished the test, evie took a nap finally and thaey have some very good readings. whic is fantastic news, we should not have to do this again! depending on how severe these waves are evie will see a neurologist for brain imaging.... more to come soon!!!

Monday Dr. Visit with Dr. Smith

Today we met with a new Dr. that cris and I absoultly LOVE... she was amazing, we told her of evie's episodes and exactly what happens and asked could this be seizures, she calmly said yes, there are many of the same trigger points that are know in infant seizures, and requested we do an EEG... but felt confident enough to say that she would like for us to proceed as if they were... She explained to us how we could help evie through them by getting everyone around quiet and talking soft and comforting, rub her back help her to relax and the seizure would subside, so that night wwhen she had yet another while eating dinner with cris' parents that is what we did, evie seemed to come out of it well and yet again within 30min. was off to sleep.

EEG Wednesday at 9:30 am

Well... We were awoke by evie chocking at 4;30 this morning i and cris jumped up ran into the room and found sweet evie laying in her bed gasping and choking on her own vomit, i quickly rolled her over and tried to calm her best we could, we put her in a nice warm bath and held her. about 30min. later she was fast asleep( but not before she threw up again because mommy had given her a little milk thinking that she didn't want her baby too go to bed hungry), i am sure this goes without saying but in bed with mommy and daddy!!! poor cris was so upset he couldnt go back to sleep and stayed up watching us for awhile, he said until he was confident that everything was going to be okay!!!

October 17th,2009

Today Evie had a rather bad spell , while shopping at kroger, like many she has had before, she began to gasp for breath, started to choke eyes began to flutter and then she began to vomit, Thank GOD for the lady standing beside me that jumped in to help, while i scrame at evie she told me to pinch her feet and patted her back, needless to say after it was all said and done she cried i cried and then she went to sleep! well after telling nana, momma and my sister.... the next morning necie called to check on miss evie, she commented on how she had read something about seizures and that it sounded like a classic case, and urged me to take her in to see her doctor......

Big Girl

I am such a very BIG GIRL!! in this past month I have done so much... i learned to hold my own bottle, sit up and was perfect for my first EKG!!!! My Mommy and Daddy have been so very proud of me, Mommy says my next step is CRAWLING.... Wish me luck!!!
